Experimenting with Experimental

When I signed up for the class it was mainly to fill the last of my production credits. I thought this class could be easy because "any thing can pass as experimental", from the trippy visuals to just bullshitting and saying it was intentional. So that was the mindset I came in with. This was also before I realized that Shannon would be the professor, so this quickly changed once I saw who would be teaching it. My time in this experimental class has been both interesting, frustrating, and all around an enjoyable learning experience. I went on and on (and on) about how I don't have the same filmmaking drive as the majority of the class, so at times I felt out of place. But I did love working with big groups on making the short film. I loved the music video project because of the collaboration and the creativity of bouncing ideas off of each other.
